Warren may be onto something here, 2 wheels would give maximum speed/money ratio.

£1500.

 

 

Have you bought anything yet?

£600?! Well bought. Mine cost nearly £6k

 

Mind you that was in 1996.

Alfa 156 V6 - if you can stand 25mpg that is. Over 30mpg if you can resist clogging it - which if you're anything like most owners - you won't!!! (I know what I was like with mine). Been v.cheap for a while now, alot of metal for the money, I had one for a year, spent virtually nothing on it (bar fuel...) and sold it for £150 more than I paid, no complaints here.

 

Mind you, I'm 48 and have been having a MLC since I was 26............

25 quid a lesson inc the bike 7 lessons and the test was 40 quid i think :o

The cost to get a bike license these days is ridiculous.

 

It was bad enough in my day when the brought out the two part test in the earlier part of the 1980's.

 

If it cost that much back then, I'd probably not have even bothered getting two wheels as bikes were simply seen as the cheap method of getting around.
