LIVE collection thread

Hi,

Tomorrow (Wednesday) Is the day for collecting my new Peugeot

It's going to be train all the way there and obviously driving home

I live in kent and the car is in wales

Seller doesn't get home till 5:30pm so that gives me time to get there! (Train app says it's going to be 5 hours or so)

I have tweeted First Great Western rail and they confirm that they have plug sockets on their train which should in theory give me juice!

What's the protocol for collection threads? Pez station shot.. What else?

I travel to London daily on the train so am used to keeping myself occupied for an hour and a half... But 5 hours?! How do I prevent myself from going loopy?

Do chod hunting snooker in your time off.

1pt for every shit red car you snap.

Then you must attempt a colour:

2pts for a beige (yellow) shit car.

3pts for a green turd car.

4pts for going to town on a brown.

5pts for a bit of blue.

6pts for a very faded red (pink) crock.

7pts for a black.

You MUST spot a red after every colour.

Any Vauxhalls will be considered a foul and will mean a points deduction of 4.

FIVE HOURS? Ouch!

But saying that, it would probably take nearly as long to drive it once you've got round the 25 et al.

I like the idea of car snooker

Would I get extra shite points for using one of my retro laptops??

My family think I'm losing the plot

Infact my employers do too, but that's another story

I'm thinking about which laptopshite© to take!

Some (most) of those sockets on trains dont work, if you sit down and get no power try some others if its not too busy. I only say this because I wanted to charge my phone the other week travelling London to Doncaster, the plug next to me was dead so I just thought oh bugger they dont work nevermind, but as the carraige was half empty I tried three more then bingo found one that worked! I have noticed people trying numerous plugs before trying to get power.

Wouldnt want a live collection thread to be halted by a faulty socket now would we 8)  Enjoy!!

Good morning,

Well I am awake and kind of alive. Currently discussing with the mrs if I am going to walk the 2 miles to the train station here or jump in with her for the school run to the station in the town where she works, kids go to school, her mother (who lives with us) works and hopefully in a few months I will be working

I don't know wether I'll get a lift or walk, I also don't know why we don't live there tbh. I'll ask

Anyway I get sidetracked easily

Im going to pack a travel bag in a min.. Should be fun

Update: currently I'm just lying on my bed, thinking about doing something

Bongo mags, foot mounted up skirt camera, countryside magazine so you can pretend to be taking pictures of fields so you can snap the fit bird in the seats opposite and an Autoshite key ring with a picture of your Russett Brown Allegro and your contact number on it.

It's a peugeot of late 1990s fame

306 rallye.. Probably not shite by your standards (or mine either) but I can't get anything older past the mrs

I wanted a bright yellow sd1 v8 but that fell right on it's area

Travel bag packed.. One bottle of smoothie,

House keys, debit card, phone charger and my mophie case is nice and charged

Well picked. 306 Rallyes are mega eager. Not far off the Gti6 's as I recal, but less well equipped.

I'd roll one. Probably litterally.

This should keep me nicely entertained at work today, then. :) Good luck with the Pug. These hot 306s seem to be mega bargains right now and I am constantly tempted by one before the price goes up!

Look out for scrap yards and abandoned shite, there's always plenty near train lines I find just staring out the window.

Failing that, many rail uses seem to pass the time stumbling from carriage to carriage swinging a can of Super Tennants whilst vaguely mumbling the lyrics to 'Danny Boy' in a Scottish accent. Plus 5 hours should give you enough time to make a couple of quid from commuters who just want you to fuck off.

Well I'm on the train, it's my normal commuter train. I'm a bit dissapointed as it's one with the 3+2 seat configuration inside but hey it's a nice electrostar 375 southeastern unit. I had a good chat with Sean, the trolly dolly. He is a good boy I like him. He have me a copy of the star to read so that's a bonus.

I had a gti-6 a few years back. The rallye is a supposedly lightened version but it's only about 16kg lighter iirc.

I normally find a good 5 hour wank on the train helps pass the time.

There are no bad 5 hour wanks.

Update:

First scrap yard spot! I pass this every day, it's in Strood. I'm not sure what it's all about?

Nothing seems to move, nothing seems movable

But I kind if want it all
