It also got one for having a child seat, which I guess has something to do with them not being able to check the rear belts.

The scenario is: tester removes child seat to assess seat belt, refits it wrong,customer jumps in car,has crash,baby flies through windscreen,mot tester gets blamed

 

So.. If it turns up with child seat fitted, you tick this in the RFR list on the VTS machine

I had one about the auxiliary belt being in poor condition on our old passat estate for five years straight, my father in law has the car now and the belt is still OK after another 4 years. I just never got round to changing it.......

I've had an advisory before now on the Tacumablob, for "Wheelchair present so unable to check all seat belts" or words to that effect.  I keep the OSR seat folded down so the wheelchair has somewhere to live, strapped in.  Following test I presented it without wheelchair.  Petty.
