Three technically challenged ladies and an ignorant photographer = H.A. Rods promotional shot.

What is she meant to be trying to do with that adjustable spanner?

WOW!!!  a real flock of Superbirds..........(couple of $squillion there :-D  :-D )even tho only 503 made, hence the "500" tag.for the 69/70 racing season.

Yes yes, I know that.

But they are roadrunner beep beep anyway. Just look at the feckers on rostyle type magnum wheels.

In the UK we had the Mopar Avenger 1500GT. Hmmm.

Don't knock the Avenger , they're great!

Of course, if it wasn't for the fuel crisis Chrysler would have put a 440 in the 180 to create the Humber Bengal and wipe the floor with Ford and BMW in Touring cars.

Thanks Hooli, that's a fascinating link. Is there anything in the theory Olympic and Titanic were switched?

Posted

That theory has been proved wrong many times, too many differences in the ships etc

I've joined a few FB pages about old liners, it's surprising what you can fill your time with!

Which is why most "Titanic" photos can be de-bunked even quite blurred and distant shots.

Family legend had it that my Gran had a photo of it passing the end of her father's farmyard (which bordered a stretch of the Solent) and she often referred to it.   Never found the bugger though......

Quite possible though. I believe the route went Southampton, Frogshire, Ireland & off to the deep blue yonder.

Do you know any more about that photo?. What station is it?.

The station is Stafford.

I don't know specifically what happened here, but I guess the Ital's dropped off the back of a car transporter (liner) train.

Thanks, i shared it on the Marina and Ital FB page and a few people was asking, i think it was decided that it was Salford and they were very early 1980 models coming from the factory that had come off, someone said they are pre-1981 cars as they have side repeaters on the wings which were dropped the following year.
