Now that's what I call a good sense of balance.

(It's the picture of a SIMCA making haste around a corner with a man stood on it's boot).

What a fantastic invention, I'm going to buy some. It must have some sort of invisible-force-field secret ingredient which clings to the bodywork. It's like a permanent rain-free tent, you don't even need to use windscreen wipers.

In fact you don't even need a garage. You can work on the car in the pissing rain and not get wet.

I'd guess it makes driving in the rain much quieter too. Unless the force-field makes a noise.

Shame about all those turtles though.

^^ Now I feel old.

I can visualise Turtle Wax in those bottles. Surely it wasn’t that* long ago?

1970. Check out the bonnet cooling air scoops and the 'over-the-roof' exhausts.

RR were amazingly po-faced about their cars at one time. They used to stop people using the wrong colour on them and tried to control who had them. Didn't get them anywhere really.

For our younger viewers it's Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and notorious Rolls Royce crumple zone tester.

Well known Austin Maxi owner also had one. Note AA and RAC badges - even rock-gods need a tow sometimes. Hey Jude Imagine that.

Aberdeen. A couple more of this Humber (in white) in the colour pics thread today.

There was a custom club (Granite City Cruisers or something) late 70s/early 80s.
