Prototype Mk1 Fiesta. Dated 1972.

Mk1 Capri pre-facelift headlamps / indicators. May as well use them, have a few lying around.

1972 again.

Definitely a whiff of 2-door Cortina Mk3 about the windscreen and A-pillar and front door.

Undated. You can see the Fester lines emerging. Dunlop D2 style 12"s.

Looks a bit like a Reliant Kitten.

Spain 1934.

I wonder what the safe load bearing was on those pillars and how long they lasted :)

The Weekend House Kocher Canvaswas designed by Albert Frey along with his colleague and partnerLawrence Kocher for the latter, built between 1933 and 1934, a couple of years after his aluminum house as a kind of cloth tribute to the Villa Savoy , in whose details he was collaborating during his stay in Paris. Not Spain but Long Island USA.

Frey had been working on prototypes for the subsistence farms that occurred in the United States during the years of the Great Depression and from there they took ideas for this wooden box lined with canvas; modest but hedonistic, with its place under roof for the vehicle and its roof to enjoy the stars.

The house was supported on six metal pillars that supported a structure of forged and wooden walls lined with aluminum foil. The interior walls and the deck were veneered with plywood lined with canvas. Apparently, it was necessary to repaint and reseal every three years.

The canvas was donated by the "Cotton-Textile Institute" to test its ability to be used as an exterior cladding material.Frey was the first to adopt this technology and incorporate it into the packaging of an entire building.

The house withstood a hurricane in 1938, but was demolished in the 1950s.

Slight hint of AMC Pacer above the waistline as well!

For 41 years Harold was the pointer at the corner, always ensuring that drivers got round the corner safely.

He's retired now.

More Marina design. This time made out of cake. And why not.

Someone's been looking at pics of Mk1 Escorts and Opel Kadetts.

This design was close to being accepted but they sliced it up and ate it one Friday afternoon and that was the end of that.

I think it's a MG or a Morris Minor or a Cadillac or something.

In my mind I can feel those delicious smooth soft supple seats. Both of them.

BMC thing. Am not sure what it is but if they'd made this a production car then someone on here would have one. Probably several of them.

Look at the dire paint finish on that bonnet from using aerosols. In fact, the whole paintjob looks ruined. At least you won't notice where the scratched door's been touched in.

Presumably the pic was taken between them making the street one way and taking down the directions sign?

Looks like a big white letter "i" imprinted on this pic.

Remember Escort estates with the rear windows panelled over? Often used by TV sales / rental / repair shops. Also Viva HCs. I think the panels were just covers and easily removable.

Has his own arrow following him along the road though. Don't know how he does that. Must be magic.

It's obviously* fitted to a bracket under the front of the transit that stalks him all day every day, hence he appears so glum.

We should be nice to him though, he does look up to us.
