Spot the poster on the gable end to the left of A Lowthers yard - 'Beer - it's lovely'. Must be a campaign from the Beer Marketing Board.

A105 Westminster..........Vanden Plas?

Prime bangers fodder in the seventies.

Could be A95 or A105 as they are visually almost identical in this long-tail form.    Bumper mounted spots tends to indicate A105 but can't be sure without seeing carbs or bootlid badge!    It doesn't look like it has the VP crowns on the front of the side flash, though.

Considering the corrosion on this ten-or-so year old car its no wonder they got ovalled!

I'm guessing the year is around 1973/4 - is that a Marina or a mid seventies Datsun? The Austin could be 15 years old at that point, hard to say.

Great shot and I think that is a Vauxhall Viscount at the back.

Mate had one back in the late seventies. Total waft barge. 3.3 straight six auto with vinyl roof (phwoar) and bits of stick, if I remember rightly, lecky windows and seats you could live in.

I was slightly envious even though I had a Ventora at the time.

Electric windows all round were standard on the Viscount, very fancy for the time!

^That's an early attempt at the face-lift of the Triumph 2000. I think the version they went with in the end was better!
