Standard Vanguard? The F reg may indicate a repatriated and re-registered ex-Royal Air Force or Army vehicle having been sold off at a Government auction. Loads about in the 60's often lhd and the cheapest-of-the cheap.

'Hello Doris, haven't seen you for ages.  Howdy'a fancy coming round my place on Thursday for steak and egg and chips?  And a nice cup of tea.  Then maybe take you doggy style on the sofa?'.

Vanguard or Skoda...lets take a look...

I think Vanguard wins it by the rad opening shape...or it may be an Ensign - which was even more austere poverty spec.

These were especially made for the services. Not sure the exact model...

The F reg indicates a re-reg as these stopped production in 1963. I remember loads of these ex-services cars on the road in the 60's - in army green or air force  blue.

A Manchester back street would be their natural habitat.

Mystery estate / hatchback on the left.

Pretty sure that is a Maxi.

Daimler man in a suit and tie with one of those 'know your new roadsign' stickers on the windscreen. Daimler did not make it into preservation it appears - rust or wear on the V8 probably condemned it.
