Shall I tell Ms C that you'll be requiring the spare room?

I'm sure I can put all the tools and bits of exhaust pipe in the wooden shed rather than the rotting shed to make space.

Depends on the direction of the rain,  probably the Austin 1100 (purple shed).

Right chaps there are 2 types of seal which fit the 200tdi,  I've buggered up 3 of these green/silver/black ones which I think are the newer 'improved design and can be had for around £11 (wish I'd checked before handing over £40 to the main dealer for my 2nd one).

Now a seller in Kidderminster has these terracotta coloured ones for £3.88 which might be the older design,  do we think that they might be easier to fit if thier not quite as leak proof?  At the price I can afford to get a few so failing at the first attempt won't be an issue

If the Sirion can wing an MOT, I might well head over. Mainly because tea has been mentioned, but it's also a chance to catch up with several of my former motors!

Buy 2 of the red ones and use one as the shock absorber when you smack the other into place.

P.S. will be with you all about 2:00ish

Red ones are fine. Worth having a look see at the shaft it's trying to seal too. If the seals have worn a groove in it then you'll never stop a leak unless you speedi sleeve it.

Would anyone attending like to do Moog a favour?

He is working in Birmingham on the 17th of July and I have a small welder here for him,  to save him driving 50 miles out of his way would anybody be able to hold onto it for a couple of weeks?

I was looking forward to meeting another shitter but I'll be working that evening so wouldn't see him anyway.

I live in Birmingham and can hold on to it but due to the unique way my job goes I have no idea where in the country I'll be on the 17th. Sloth's in Birmingham too or if he's got to come down the M6, Chaseracer is just a small detour off at Cannock.

I can hold onto it but my accessability on 17th will be limited to be from 17:30 to 18:45. So if Moog is about then no problems.

I am training in Birmingham but will be finished at 5 so those times should work for me. Or alternatively will be M6 ing it so can do that as well

I live 50 mile away from Birmingham so i am no use. In the case of midlands spannering, how hard can it be to do a water pump and cm belt on a modern ish Vectra without a drive way, trolley jack or a clue on how to do it?!

I'm going to be run off my feet fixing my heap and making tea this time but I'll be happy to bring tools and lend you a hand next time,  never worked on a Vectra but how hard can it be?  Especially if VX suprimo Red5 is there to tell us what to do.  Try and find out if it needs a proper cam locking kit as some stuff can be lined up with a couple of bolts and a drill bit.
