Following the poundland thread how about tipoffs of other cheap stuff you find. For instance I bought these 26 inch aeroblade wipers for the Picarsehole on saturday from ebay.

 

£5.22 a pair delivered, they arrived today and were fitted in seconds. Far better than poundlands offferings that only go up to 20inch anyway I think.

Although I did purchase a set of wheel nuts on ebay recently that were guaranteed* not to rust.

Cheap as chips and went rusty in three days. As the guarantee was non specific regarding usage and timescale it was worthless.

Cheap is cheap for a reason.

I've used similar wiper blades for years. The ones on the xm are growing something on the backs for some reason, and the ones for the meriva are slightly shit due to the size of them but their worth the money.
