Ratdat Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 My mate Gary who loves down the road from me has finally sold his Renault 6 but as he is away in France this weekend he left it with me so the new owner could come get it. Seemed to good opportunity to snap some pics of it for all you Renner pervs as it really is a honey. Gary spent an utterly eye watering sum of money restoring it... Bench seat FTW! Here's how it looked when he got it... NorfolkNWeigh, Bucketeer, Junkman and 18 others 21
Mr_Bo11ox Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Jesus!!!!! That is HOTTER than a bevy of page 3 stunnaz sunning themselves on the refurbished 20-tube sun beds at SUN CITY TANNING STUDIO in Crewe. trigger, Twiggy, Vince70 and 2 others 5
Spiny Norman Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 PHWOAAR, that's a honey and no mistake. I remember being at primary school and one of my mates folks had one like that in bright green. Junkman 1

londonm Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I've just ejaculated in my pants. Out of interest, what is the perceived value of that rarity now?
dollywobbler Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 There you go DukeAngyl - just do that. How hard could it be? S'lovely that. vulgalour, trigger and Wilko220 3
MrDuke Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 There you go DukeAngyl - just do that. How hard could it be? S'lovely that. ** Scurries off to buy a tin of grey hammerite and some new brushes **
vulgalour Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Really is a gorgeous thing, I doubt I'll ever get mine to that standard in all honesty, though it would be nice.
Ratdat Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 I've just ejaculated in my pants. Out of interest, what is the perceived value of that rarity now? Not as much as you might expect. It was up for £4.5 and sold for a bit less. Massively less than it cost to restore but then nobody restores cars like this for profit. Witness my Cherry Europe. It cost about three times more to restore than I paid for it. I'm glad there's folk out there crazy enough and with deep enough pockets to do cars like this though.
Squire_Dawson Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 A nice car. My only criticism is the replacement number plates. IMHO the originals would be better left on.
Ratdat Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 I agree with that. I liked the old white/yellow plates with separate plastic letters. Much nicer than the modern generic black and silver plates.
wuvvum Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Wowzer! Just makes me think what I could do with mine, if I wasn't so skint / tight. Utterly stunning. I assume it's an 845cc, having the bench seat in the front?
ProgRocker Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 My mate Gary who loves down the road from me Holy Mother of God, that 6 is lovely. Extra shite points for the front bench seat. Top banana!
