Great! Those Wolseley wedges immediately make me think of a white n reg one and its rescuer, Nick Larkin. I remember reading about it being rescued from a scrap yard ( was sat on a mk2 granada) in practical classics. I was 16 and remember thinking what a great story, I want to do things like that!

I was exactly the same! It was about 95/96 time IIRC, His was a Morris 1800 version but imagine my excitement then last year when i saw it in the flesh at the NEC car show, Mrs Trigger thought i was a bit weird when i started rambling on about the story of the car to her.
