Dodge Caravan/Chrysler Voyager

Ferrari 308 GTB

BMW M1 (Silver)

Mercedes 500SEC (The better of the 2)

Could I add the Orange Peel Dragster to my Capri & Volvo(& case?)please?

I'll also take the Siku Ferrari from the 1st lot if it's still there :-)

Mini Ha-Ha, Rod Roller and the T-Bird are of interest to me if still available... in fact, looking at what's there, anything Matchbox that isn't claimed I'd be interested in as I don't see much in the way of duplicates of my own collection here.

Corgi Roller Corniche and Corgi Black Taxi for me please!

I missed out on a Corniche here before after a misunderstanding.

Posted

I'd like the Flareside Pick-Up out of those - fond memories of a blue one with white tear graphics as a child, it was even in a BBC2 ident in a dream I had.

Do excuse my rambling!

Can i blag any of the Corgi US vans and the pogweasle battered beetle please

LS, Ghosty and DVee8 - Done.

I think I'll leave this here for a couple of days, see if there's any more takers, and then move on to the packagerising and postagering side of things. Hopefully, packages will be en-route in a week or so.

As I'm a very infrequent poster of anything, is the Post Office the best cheapest place to use, or are there better cheaper options?

Also, I hope no-one will be too offended if I wrap the models up in kitchen roll or similar for added protection. I am too tight skint tight and skint to shell out for bubble or owt like that.

The smaller the better as far as the PO/Royal mail goes these days I think is the opinion.

I'm holding out for photos of Miss Bucketeer.

I'd be happy to rehome any or all of the Hotwheels ones, especially the top left stationwagon.

When posting model cars I found that 2nd Class came to £2.60 regardless of weight. Its the size of a package that seems to dictate the price. About the size of a shoebox is the biggest I reckon you could get away with, however I bet some of the wee cars, if placed in a jiffy bag would fit through a letterbox and therefore be even cheaper to post. That's what I'm stockpiling just now in anticipation of my own toy car krazy giveaway in a few month's time.

Posted

If the PO try and charge you massively, perhaps try a myHermes quote? Depends on dimensions and such.

Posted

I'm thinking I'd like to add the Majorette trailer and canoe please, if nobody else claims it.  I'm sure I've got something suitable to put in front of it.  Chrysler 180, maybe; I think I have two of those...

The inaugural test mission of HMS Cardelivery is now underway.

Godspeed little cars.

Looks like you might be having all of them.

News from North of the border regarding the test mission will determine if this is suitable. Fingers crossed.

Could I add the Zylmex Toyota to my others please?

Done.

Greed is not a sin in this situation.

I'm holding out for photos of Miss Bucketeer.

I was speaking to her on the phone a few days ago and she asked if I had put any more pictures of her on here. I said "no, of course not", to which she replied (rather huffily) "why not?"

Sometimes you just can't win.

OK I think these are waiting at the Post Office for me now!

I think my jiffy bag theory was slightly misguided though as the PO have stated that I owe them 3 nuggets.

However I think this is 100% FAIR_DINKUM as the cars were free and I wanted to pay postage anyway. 3 quid sounds fine to me for 3 cars including postage!

I'm really just letting you know because you asked as it might determine how you want to post the others. I think I'll just go for 2nd Class £2.60 when I do my krazy fleet clearout in the next few weeks (loft is being cleared and floored to make way for my 'front-line collection)

Looking forward to getting them, thanks for your generosity in giving these away free :-)

Balls.

Sorry about that Ian.

Please accept my heartfelt internet apologies.

I sent Mr Lobster a tiny little single car package at the same time, I hope that's not sitting in Post Office purgatory too.

I iz a mailspaz.

Posted

Bucket - How much would the postage on my collection be? Also, how do you want paying?

Posted

I should be able to get yours off for the second class £2.60 price.

I think only the carrycase and the joint Vulg-Ram packages may cost a little more to post.

Just this very night I have gained access to Paypal, so I will message everyone with all the details in the next day or so.

Posted

The Vulg-Ram package is perhaps a little on the large side.  A donation towards postage could be made if you'll accept it.

Posted

Heavens, no apology needed man, I'm 100% super-happy about getting 3 cars posted for a pound each. It would cost me double that to get the same on eBay!

Posted

Excellent, let me know what the postage will be i've pm'd you my Address.
