There was a lovely wee blue P100 for sale in Glasgow last week on Gumtree for £1000.

Also watching.

He's quick. The latest listing had not long ended.

Surprisingly, with zero bids.

Someone local go and tyre kick it. That may just push him over the edge. :D

I just offered £124.80.

Cash. I hope he loses his shit.

Everyone make him a cash offer.

The first one to get him to swear, wins a KitKat Chunky.

I've already contacted him before to ask whether the handbrake cable was broken, because "...coins - especially 20p pieces - are known to get stuck in the handbrake of that particular model". Thought I'd best ask, since the advertiser had clearly forgotten* to add this to the advert.

So I'm going to pass on making an offer... but if I had done it would have been £124.79, just in case he accepted :-D

It doesnt look a ridiculous buy at £300, it looks in pretty good nick to be fair, yeah he said the HG had gone but I doubt he would know a blown HG if one was inserted into him. I'd probably pay £200 and I dont even want it.

I'l increase the Kit Kat offer by a fun size Twix (unlicked) if someone asks him if he's got a 1/18 scale model Peugeot 405 for sale, in white.

Posted

Well, my offer was politely declined. And he didn't answer the 1:18 question.

Maybe he WOULD take 200.

I used to have one of these models, however, mine was a 3 door and was BRG. This is the only other chrome bumper jobbie that have ever seen. I love it. Sorry, I'm crap at links:

OK, so this Jaguar XJ-RS in "excellent condition" is up for sale at what appears to be £4,000.

But apparently excellent condition means this:

$(KGrHqRHJDoFI9Tp9M6nBSQFM(Qn!g~~60_12.J

$T2eC16NHJIQFHHbpvrIHBSQFMr,2ug~~60_12.J

And it gets better than that... reading the description, the car will only be sold if the lucky* buyer stumps up a further £3,000 to have the car restored by the seller!

But that's OK, because "THIS GIVES THE PROSPECTIVE BUYER PIECE OF MIND AND THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE CAR HAS BEEN RESTORED CORRECTLY AND NOT JUST FILLED WITH FILLER ETC"

Whatever happened to the 'Ebay spelling ' thread?

Seems to have disappeared off the face of the forum.

Even more shite than an xjs but rong fred i fear

In some eyes, maybe. I think anything more than a score for it is too expensive though. :D

For sale is a 1972 Ford Pinto V8 conversion called 'The Bulldog'. This ford was built only for the US market and built to emmulate the success minis had in Europe in the USA. These cars originally had fitted a 2 liter Pinto engine hence was called the Ford Pinto. It has now got a huge 302 cubic inch for motor and transmision which is equivilent to 5.0litre for V8. This is a monster as it has been strenghten and braced to take such power. The custom exhaust is direct occationally trowing flames from the top mounted exhaust on the 2 fenders or wing. This has to be seen to be understood. Hot rod Bulldog. Many Thanks Elo

Price: £29000 Or near offer

Elo: you're illiterate, and your hideous belming seppo Capri is massively overpriced

Get it cubed and go straight back to school.

What a shitehawk, those ‘exhausts’ coming out the front wings are not even connected up to anything. That is not a hot rod it’s just a half-arsed barry shiteheap. Actual value: £1950 on a good day
