Donate Your Scrap Car to Charity?

Does anyone have any experience of donating their 'shite to charity to deal with scrappaging it?

I AM a registered charity, because of having to scrap cars.

 

And my experience is that I don't like it.

It probably a very worthy charity but when they came up with the name why did they employ the same team that named the Renault Wind?

 

 

 

I imagine it's just like car take back but you don't get any money.

Do it already. 100% of the money from scrapping my 306 has gone direct to fund important drinking research. I can't remember the results, but I'll try again next weekend.

I am pretty much a charity. Perhaps, not legally, but a charity none the less.

No chance. I used the money I got from scrapping the Vectra to build up my savings again after EDF robbed every penny. My own wee family is my charity, everyone else can FRO.

I'd rather scrap the car and then give the cash to charity. I'd love to see what fees are attached to the charity car thing.

more than likely a "charity" which takes a healthy cut of any value and spends it on "overheads"- think 90% , rather than 10%.....
