51 Plate Mondeo Mk2

Seen a 51 plate Mondeo Mk2 today - not an ST200 either, a 2.0 LX. I thought they sold last on an X plate! How might that have come about? I'd upload a picture but my Nokia shite phone is about 0.5 megapixels

Couldn't be an export/import job that's wound up with the wrong plate? I thought 2002 would be well into MK3 production.

It could well be one that took a long while to sell and sat around Dagenham for along while, funny enough I saw this one on the way to Shitefest 12â„¢ on the A12 near Dagenham, there used to be a few 51 plate ST200 4 doors locally in white that were ex police cars.

The latest I've seen is a 57 plate 75. I've heard there's the odd 08 about, too.

This is troo. I've seen an 08 plate 45 and a 57 plate 25 myself.

 

As this is a Ford thread, I have seen a L reg Sierra in years gone by.
