Sexy seat spotted

Today's trip to Tesco was cheered up hugely by this spot. On drive by I thought it wasa Fiat 600 but on closer inspection it turns out to be a super rare Seat 600.

I'm still in shock!

It looks a recent import. The condition of this is nothing short of stunning.

Sorry for the camera phone kwality.

The trolley is a bit close for comfort.

I read the thread title as "sexy seat spotted" and wondered where this was going for a moment, glad to see it's a car though, and a very sexy Seat it is too!

So would I. I'llbe keeping my eye out for it when I'm out and about. The lucky git that owns this should be putting it away soon unless he is a keen welder.

Today must have been my lucky day as I also saw a lovely Citroen C6. I was driving at the time so could not snap it.

Ex Pat who's moved back to Blighty perhaps? Gr12 spottage there

That is pretty nice. It never even crossed my mind before but the 600 i spotted in Spain in the summer was probably one of these.

Just checked. Yes it is.

I was holidaying in the Murcia area again this year. There are loads of old seats around. Here are a couple I spotted. The Malaga in La Manga & the Marbella in Cartagena.

I just launched my love yoghurt all over that picture of the Malaga.

I was dying to see one when I was over in Spain. Was gutted not to.

Just been onto Wikipedia which says:

As of June 2013, there is only one Málaga registered in the United Kingdom, it being of "XL" trim.

Is this true? Do we know who owns this? Do they need a kidney?

Posted

XL trim?

Is that for fatsos?

The Malaga was never a huge seller in the UK and any that did sell most probably rotted away pretty quickly.

Must be a recent import as its ITV (MOT) 'd until next year.

How do you get this information from? Gutted if it is an import. I think it was Pillock who spotted that eastern European one last year so there may well be at least two. I really want a UK spec one though. Preferably a system Porsche one with the trim level that includes a digital clock.

Think he meant the 600 was MOT'd til next year going off the stickers in it.

Nice spot but I would have to admit that I would have preferred a Malaga. I'd probably swap one of the kids for a UK spec, RHD 1.5 GLX. No such luck sadly ;)

In the mama and bambino spot, too.

I do hope this little cracker is being taken off the salt-infested roads, shortly.

'Scuse the slight hijack/repost from my thread, but can someone tell me which model/flavour of old Seat this is please. An extensive* internet search has proved fruitless.

It's been featuring in some fairly sordid dreams ever since I spotted it.
