Cheapest shite is at the beginning and the end.

 

9:30 start is more for the breakfast crowd, typically leave Truckers at 10:40ish for auction.

Sorry I missed it. I was driving to Cannock when van threw belt. Thought belt snapped but turned out to be tensioner seized. Took a bit longer to repair did I miss much?

What a day! Alarm went off and I promptly fell back to sleep. Woke up an hour later, got ready and walked down the road to the Sterling where I was spotted by Red5 passing in his Vauxhall Frontera...soz...tasty Land-Rover Discovery. I was carrying 2 full bottles of water as I knew the rad needed a bit of filling, I couldn't be arsed having an arse clenching drive watching the temp gauge rise...

 

After quite a shit journey involving a twat in a Black VW Golf trying to push me out of the way (which didn't work) and pretty much every traffic light between here and Cannock going Red, I eventually arrived. But thinking that the crew had already left I decided carried on to the Auction but as I passed the Truckstop I caught a glimpse of a Yellow Rover P6 and a White 205 so I swung my Sterling around in a daft Sweeney style and rocked over the carpark to meet other enthusiasts of terrible cars.

 

I then found myself behind the wheel of a Rover P6 V8 which is very different from my Sterling. It's actually nicer.

 

Here is a selection of some of the rammle we saw going around the block:

 

 

Tidy Giffer-spec Rover 45 that made £240

 

Some Honda CRV thing that provoked a bit of a bidding war and seemingly made £1150? or thereabouts...

 

Bub-spec Van that didn't chuck it's belt.

 

Hilarious giffer auctioneer.

 

At one point I actually shit myself when a car sold and the auctioneer seemed to be looking and pointing straight at me Thankfully somehow it wasn't me who unknowingly bought a car.

Later on, we eventually met Dugong who brought a '15 plate Berlingo down (as if he wasn't already tired of Citroën stuff already). After getting chucked out of the Truckers Rest (because they wanted to close) We headed over to the Hollies to have some moody shots of our cars taken by Mr_Dugongz. I decided to join in, here are my "efforts"

I forgot to say, you lot were laughing at my Astra but as we left the auction carpark, some guy tapped on the window asking if I was selling it! DESIRABLE.
