Felly Magic Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Skoda based Bugrat Pure A1 weapons grade shite, a Korean Cortina Peugeot 504 saloon Beige Metro automatic! ProgRocker 1
Felly Magic Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 I know, must be the only survivor!
Partridge Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 It's the best car in the world, don't you remember??
trigger Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Crikey, the Stellers a steller spot! ProgRocker 1
Partridge Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I'd love a Stellar (one with wheels, not bubbles, well both are fine, but you know). But imagine what a mare non-cortinary parts would be.
Felly Magic Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 LOL. I hadn't seen one in years, and was very surprised to see it. I bet getting bits for it is an absolute ball ache, and whoever owns it needs to be crowned Shitter of the year!
Partridge Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I've genuinely seen more Bugatti Veyrons around than I have these. It's only a matter of time before footballers cotton onto this is real exclusivity, and Wayne Rooney will be smoking around in a Stellar.
Felly Magic Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 It's a 'Gold Medal' 1.6 GSL, Seoul Olympics edition? The owner of it is clearly a WINNAR! It was in the public parking area at the Stanford Hall Skoda meet back in May, and I have a sneaky feeling it may belong to someone from Classic car Weekly michael t, Angrydicky and Partridge 3
SambaS Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 The banger racer we bought the FSO 125P from had a rite tidy Stellar a few months back sadly it was too late by the time I found out. Last I saw it was prepped for racing - didn't want to enquire further as it just winds me up. TBF I probably shouldn't even have said anything just now should I.
HillmanImp Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 OMG! Wow, they (or it) has aged well. It looks really good. They never looked that good new did they?
UmBongo Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Beige...mmm...Metro...ooh...Automatic...aah...
Partridge Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I always think they hide their Cortina roots quite well.
Felly Magic Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Back to the spottages, Wartburgtastic, and beige! Skoda 1000MB at Detling in Kent ProgRocker 1
Alexg Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Just adding my voice to the 'WOW STELLAR!!' crowd. What a spot
Felly Magic Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 I know, its off the clock awesome. I think its Calendar material
Partridge Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 "Hyundai Stellar Official 2014 Calender" phwoooor.
HillmanImp Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I know, its off the clock awesome. I think its Calendar material Its not anyone's on here car though. Unless they are being very quiet about it.
rml2345 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Could you keep a Hyundai Stellar secret for that long on AS? Someone would know by now... That Wartburg is beigetastic!
Mr_Bo11ox Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Thought I'd seen that Stellar before, but I haven't, this is the one I saw: brickwall 1
trigger Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Someone recently spotted a Stellar in a supermarket car park on one of those facebook groups, I thought it was someone on here who posted it.
HillmanImp Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Someone recently spotted a Stellar in a supermarket car park on one of those facebook groups, I thought it was someone on here who posted it. Then why didn't they post it here instead of FB? I am off there now to post a picture of a cock drawn on a wall. Will see how they like it. KruJoe 1
Largactil Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Pop over to Maida Vale, rescue this Stellar (and Mk1 626),and WIN at Autoshite. Partridge, Angrydicky and trigger 3
Bren Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 My dad had one of the last ones on a H plate - I think the VRM was H481 HEM but not 100% sure. Nice looker, plenty of room inside but the drive train was a bit agricultural - it was only 6/7 years old when he got it and he only paid £400 for it - it was a distress purchase as his montego VDP EFi was dying quickly - even the windscreen had fallen out. Many moons ago I watched a car programme with Mike Brewer that featured a stellar - he said he would rather have his throat slit than own one.
Angrydicky Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Did the Warty used to belong to Andrew353w? Looks familiar.
Sigmund Fraud Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Welcome back, Mr.Magic. Those spots are brilliant, it's been a very long time since I last saw a Stellar in the wild ! Many moons ago I watched a car programme with Mike Brewer that featured a stellar - he said he would rather have his throat slit than own one. I bet he wouldn't mind a Cortina, though...
Felly Magic Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 I could be the one to slit his throat. I hate Brewer. Moar spottages on their way, including a Shitter 'Woollarding'. Just uploading em to my Flickr so I can importificate em Charlie Croker 1
Felly Magic Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Now time for some hot & sexy old bricks Junkman, eddyramrod, Spiny Norman and 1 other 4
