Halfords brake cylinders and HT leads

Recommended Posts

When I was working at Halfrauds quite a few years ago they were throwing out their obsolete brake cylinders and HT leads, being a natural womble I rescued these from landfill. I've got ~10 sets of HT leads and a big box full of brake cylinders.

I willing to bet that a lot of them will fit a lot of the cars I see on here, does anyone have access to a guide showing what each part number fits, as all that is listed on the box is the halfords part number, which isn't much use.

Have you tried putting the part numbers into Google?

Take them all in to Halfords, and cross refer them with the little books hanging from the shelves.

If you have six ht leads for a 5 pot Audi 2.3 I would be interested as I'm still on the originals which are over 20 years old.

I'd be interested in some too, especially if you can find ones for a Saab 900 (89) or Merc 200te (90)

I may very well have what you guys need I just need to figure it out. I don't think I'll be able to cross reference them in store as being obsolete they will no longer be in the catalogue. :(

I'll dig some out when I'm next at my Dad's, I do definitely have a set of brand new and boxed Monroe front and rear shocks for a Mk3 Fiesta if anyone is interested

Halfords don't do HT leads anymore!

WTF?? Are you making a statement of fact or assuming cos some were chucked out?

Typically I couldn't find the brake cylinders in the garage but here's the HT leads and rotor arm, I have three of each:
