Tell us more about the 340! Dont think ive ever seen one on a J before. Late registration madness!!

 

Sam glover was offering one on here a few months back. Last week when i was in the full grip of car buying fever I pm'd Sam about it. Apparently no longer for sale as its being made into a trials project.

I don't know too much about it, I found some old pictures online of it parked in edinburgh, and I think the previous owner drifted it a few times, but the prop shaft is okay for now

It's got holes in both rear turrets, both inners sills, passengers outer sill, both inner wings, behind the front valance and the passengers rear arch

I figure after 3 or 4 bottles of welding gas I will have only invested 270 quid

Yeah I've had that a lot, and "my first car was one of they mk1s with the magic wand gear stick"

The welding shouldn't be too bad on the volvo, most of it's underneith or hidden so doesn't need to look good

Shouldn't take more than a month, but need to get the mk1 on the road before then, as I keep putting it off to finish other projects
