For Sale- turn of the century japanese shite

Posted (edited)

Hello!

I have for sale some japanese shite.

Its a silver 2000 x-reg Nissan Almera 1.5 3dr hatch. Its nothing special. 76k approx. miles on it

Its MOT is due to expire 12/10/2013, is currently SORN, but should pass an MOT.

Bodywork wise it has the odd rust scab and knock, about average for its age, but no terminal weak spots or anything, but bodywork has some turquoise Almera graphics on it. Steel wheels with trims

interior is ok, drivers seat starting to show some wear and the parcel shel has cracked

It starts, but has an intermittent sensor issue on the engine, usually runs fine, was being used as a daily driver for 10 mile round trips until replaced with some british shite, it was going to have the sensor changed but the british shite was a freebie, and i nicer car. the only other thing playing up is the passenger electric window (hence duct tape to stop using the buttons in error).

Is advertised elsewhere for £395ONO

car located in the northwest, greater manchester

now for some pictures

50 bonus points for not saying:

"Goes very well for a 1.5"

"Quite frugal, being a 1.5"

"Cheap tax as its a 1.5"

And "Cheap to insure as its a 1.5."

Though all those statements are most probably true.

I quite like Almeras. Its hard to think of a witty alternative name for them......

+75 bonus points for not mentioning GR8 4 EXPORT

I never like the "cheap to insure" line. usually causes heated debates that one!

It's an Almera, no point in pretending its something special!

Wish I didn't have so much shit taking up room on my drive right now. It's like my parent's convertory on wheels. Love it.

Are you based in Warringon, per chance? If so that's where my ex lived, and I pulled out in front of one of these in silver by mistake.

If you had to do a brake test thanks to a hapless green Rover 45 outside Tesco's in Leigh, that was me, sorry.

I'd rather push 1lb of dried peas up my arse and sit (while listening to 'Busted' on repeat) waiting for them to swell up and cause an internal injury than drive one of these Almeras TBH

That has to be one of the most creative forms of deliberate self harm that I have heard of in like.... forever. 12/10 for sheer inventiveness. Frankly worrying but quite oddly splendid.

I dread to think what your Mrs would do if she came early and found you doing that.

Its an Almera, it looks nice, depending how heroically the MicraShed fails its MOT next week I might be interested - however I really dont want to take on another MOT-less car.

let me know how you get on, and if it comes to the worst with yours your welcome to have a look

Hardly exciting, but they are very good cars. Bargain at that price

I've been told this has to go soon, as its "in the way". there has also been the threat of the dreaded bridge, but it's too good to send it over.

this means the price is now £350 Ono.

Try it on gumtree?

GLWTS, these are great reliable A to B cars.

if ithe money was there, i would re-MOT it, but it needs to go, hence the low price and ONO.

its advertised elsewhere but all thats been interested in it is timewasters. people wanting a brand new car for £350 and not willing to make offers.
