And finally for now, this horror. Not really shite but truly shit. It was a Rover 200 once....

Are sure that Rover isn't an escaped design proto from Longbridge  There seems to be a few FSO caro's on Polski plates circulating at present.

Posted

I think that Rover 200 was on Ebay,if it's the same one,it has Alfa 147 grille & lights :?

Posted

you sure the great banksy didnt paint that rover lol

Thing is hate it or not, some serious work has gone into it, lose the chrome RIMZ and paint it a deep solid colour it would look the bollocks.

I love the pisspoor repair job, still it's not as if the owner's got a rich pool of dead examples in British scrapyards to choose from. Bosh on a mk1 Metro cluster for a decently acceptable bodge-fix.

Just had a week in Normandy and I am happy to report on the presence of the following shite...

R18 on market day

Posted Image

R11 wearing oversized badge. Must be a fashion thing

Gorgeous!

Juvaquatre appeared to be in daily use!

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Farm next to the Gite we were in had usual collection of shite about. Sadly couldn't get a decent shot of the two very rotten CX's parked just out of shot.

Posted Image

Posted

Whilst we were there, there was a large car show / autojumble at Manoir de L'Automobile in Brittany, went along to rummage for old Renault bits of which there was much.

Was also a lot of cars -

Lovely, one of each s'il-vous plaît... or at least the Juva! GS has a hint of birotor?

Posted

Think the GS was a Birotor come to think about it.

Anyway, after having a good wander round the autojumble we moved inside to see the treasures inside the museum.
