Spottedlaurel
What a fantastic array of stuff! Lovely Manta A’s, but there’s also a few of the French things there with the right combination of colour and trim level that look amazing.

mk2_craig
Just had a week in Normandy and I am happy to report on the presence of the following shite... LOVELY. Just as I remember them from our trips to Normandy/Brittany as a kid in the eighties. I must dig out some pics of the R14, mk2 Golf and Prairie that we used in '82, '85 and '88 respectively. Incidentally do any of the board Francophiles know when the country swung away from black plates? I thought it was recently (mid 1990s or later) but on a cycling holiday with school in 1990 the Renner agent in Sainte-Mère-Église had an old R12 saloon for sale with yellow and white plates on, right next to a just-launched Clio in that weird greeny-silver chameleon like colour the early ones came in. No pics alas.

MrRegieRitmo
Polish reg FSO Caro has seen better days.... I love the pisspoor repair job, still it's not as if the owner's got a rich pool of dead examples in British scrapyards to choose from. Bosh on a mk1 Metro cluster for a decently acceptable bodge-fix.I'd say a MkV Escort one would look pretty similar!
MrRegieRitmo
These pictures are sensational!! I've saved virtually all of them!10/10Seems like the museum was a similar kind of place to the most excellent Classic Car Museum in Malta, pics of which you'll see when I get to them! MrRegieRitmo
Do I detect a hint of admiration for the R14, or is it purely coincidental that it's the only one you've given us fore & aft shots of?? (from that batch)

(from that batch) Yes, I do have a bit of affection for R14s, looks good in that colour as well.I did take a picture of the Fiat 124 Sport as well, howver thanks to the Great Computer Crash of 2008 which occured last Saturday they are now lost to the world forever together with everything else on my hard drive
MrRegieRitmo
I did take a picture of the Fiat 124 Sport as well, howver thanks to the Great Computer Crash of 2008 which occured last Saturday they are now lost to the world forever together with everything else on my hard drive Not so, I had my hard drives wiped by a virus a month or so ago but used some software called Ontrack Data recovery & miracle of miracles, got it all back! It can recover deleted data, corrupted data, fragmented data, formatted drives, allsorts! I recovered over 80gb of data which is far more even than I imagined I had on there! What have you done with it so far? I could burn you a copy of this software? All hope is never lost, trust me, I was in the same position as you!
Mr Lobster
So far have had new hard drive fitted, local computer place have tried to get data off old hard drive but say it is too badly damaged. Brother in law does stuff with computers so he is having a look this weekend...Copy of that software might be worth trying though as there is LOADS of stuff on it I would like.
