Well I've a dilemma here at Ruff's Tat Towers, I have a little space in my life for some commercial shite, and currently the ranks have swelled again with the addition of this one's sister (mine is V52 GKW)

As you all know, I've got a C15 as a runner already, which I've failed to take any pictures of as yet, so here is the old one:

The dilemma is this, the Dispatch I have no history on, it's ex-Yorks Electricity I believe, and I suspect it has had a new speedo at some point as the mileage shows 89k (and it had only "done" 18k at 5 years old), I've got the bits to get it mot'd sorted, but it is a relatively unknown in the mechanical side of things.

On the other side of the coin, I have the C15, which whilst I don't have much paperwork, I have worked on in the past, and have recently rebuilt all the brakes etc, so I know the oily bits are pretty good, however it is a C15 and it looks older than it is already...

So unknown, bigger, faster pispatch, or ploddy, scabby C15?

Answers on a biscuit please, no digestives mind...

This is Autoshite, so I've scrawled C15 on a Garibaldi for you.

The dispatch is a 1.9td, the C15 is a dw8.

I love the quirkiness of the C15 I must admit, but the Dispatch would make more sense with the extra seat and load space.

Dispatch, you can pop a mattress in the back and sleep in it

Dispatch: bigger, better engine and faster. The only way it's worth keeping the C15 is if it runs on veg and the other one doesn't.

having a dispatch and driven a C15, I'd say Dispatch all day long!

A C15 isn't that quirky really is it? I'd go Dispatch just because Turbos are fun.

do it the way my ten year old would do it.

If it helps, I ran an 02 Dispatch for a couple of years between 2005 and 2007. Did a lot of miles commuting between Lytham and Derby twice a week. Was the non turbo version, so a bit slow really, but not that bad. Nothing ever broke or fell off in the time I had it. Was ok on diesel too IIRC. Would have another if I needed a medium sized van. No bad memories of it, so must have been ok! It was a really boring shade of beige also! Nice.

Hmm, looks like I need to treat the dispatch to a new clutch, anyone fancy a cheapish C15?
