Go for it, £1500 paint would be shit, £2500-£4000 would be more likely, could be worth £13,000-£15,000 finished

 

The interior is a bit of a concern, if you want a top spec car, the centre console,seats and steering wheel look tired and its not easy to see if the dash is faded badly or not

 

If I'd seen it sooner I might have showed interest in it, its the sort of thing I've been looking for but got sidetracked by a Mk2 Interceptor...

Gearboxes only £400-600? Pretty sure these have a Citroen SM gearbox - I can see why people might be tempted to fit a Renault 25 unit though. Ally it to a Perkins Prima for ultimate shite points.
