A Grand Day out Gromit.

 

In order to save 10p I decided that I would break my journey at Kidsgrove to view the canal, but unfortunately once it stopped snowing it began raining. (Note to self – take Forum advice, don’t be a cheapskate, just buy a 1st class ticket to the car)

 

Anyway, quite enjoyed the walk really and found this poor Reliant, not sure if the axle stand amused me most, or the Private Moorings sign!

 

The Rover is now home, after a trouble-free if wet run of 125 miles. Many thanks Mr B.

I have very much enjoyed the whole process of buying this bargain car, thanks to everybody who has chipped in to help me on my way!

 

Now I am a Rover owner I will probably be offered a job as a Bank Manager. I am going to try for the Walmington-on-Sea branch, as I hear Mr Mainwaring has retired.
