Winter Driving (NOT!)

With the onset of winter and possible snowfalls, I found this on Youtube and thought I'd share it with you. The best clips appear to be of British origin, too!

Very good! It's amazing how many people can't get their heads around the idea that 6000rpm in 1st gear isn't the best way to get traction on ice and snow. Does make for amusing viewing though.

I have no idea why the idiots in the Golf were sniggering,as they were wheel spinning as well,and in a front wheel drive ! I think the Mercedes driver did pretty well

To be fair, most of these seem to be standard, wide lo-pros on sheet ice, and there ain't a feckin thing you can do when it gets to that stage.

That was quite graceful until the Montego & tree got in the way. Incidentally, I don't care for musicals, but I reckon 'Bin Lorry on Ice' could be a success
