Who can ID this? We think maybe an old 5 series touring judging by the alloys and mirrors.

Certainly looks like an E34 Touring. The shapes of the door frames and windows and the door mirrors are very E34-ish.

Edited to remove duplicate pic.

 

Hard to find a shot of an E34 wagon with the early style mirrors from the same angle but this one shows the doors are exactly the same.

 

Deffo not a Carlton, Mk1s didn't have flush glass and the Mk2s had rectangular glass in the rear doors.

The wheels are definitely BMW. Too big for an Astra.

I'm backing team BMW, look at the fuel filler, rear window and door handles (esp the lock).

Aye. From that angle, definitely. That's no Vauxhall side indicator. Also, it appears to have no fog light. DEATH TRAP.
