That PhotoShop pic looks awesome. That b plate car at front looks like one Jeremy clarkson was taking piss out of in a dvd of worst cars in the world

It is the one from the DVD. I forget the owners name (sorry!) but he is a regular on here.

Even better, send it to the neighbours. As a warning...:mrgreen:

It is none of the neighbours business what the guy does, or how many rennos he has. I can't be arsed with nosey shits that have nothing better to do. I have had comments from neigbours in the past about working on cars, I reckon if you are doing anything what the general populous regard as different that's when these gits get vocal. Some even see fit to pass comment on what I do to MY car in MY garage FFS!!! Painting seems to be the real piss boiler for one guy.

However, this guys gaff looks like Steptoe's yard & that will get these types piss boiling!!! Maybe if he had a wee tidy up, the neigbours would have been a wee bit less hostile.

Nosey bastards all the same!

I've always had several cars on my drive and every weekend at least one is jacked up and in bits and have never had any problems whatsoever with neighbours, yet. Folks either side are brand new but not sure what the rest of the street thinks. Most of them are different to me though and think I should be 'at the match' like a real man or something.

Spray painted a spoiler supported on upturned axle stands on my back grass the other month there and even got away with that!

I know its hard not to run your engine if you are trying to see if something is sorted, but if you start taking the piss and constantly rev the nuts off it, drill or hammer every other day for hours at a time and leave the place looking like a scrapyard people are going to get pee'd off. Not everyone likes cars.

I try to be responsible and not make excessive or unreasonable amounts of noise so if one of my neighbours did chin me about working on cars I think I would be pretty defensive.

Dunno if thats what this Laguna chap did or if his neighbours are indeed being twats.

Just saying, as I've had very anti-social neighbours in the past with shit music at all hours and it makes you feel like a prisoner in your own home. I did ask them several times to turn it down but to no avail. Justice was done some time later when she was on night shift and my other neighbour was power-washing her patio in the middle of the day. My noisy neighbour went round and asked her to wait until 5pm to clean the slabs and she was politely told to ram it.

Apparently this story was featured on the Jeremy Vine show today, It sounds like he's surrounded by a load of Hyacinth Bucket's, looking on Street view he's at the end of a Cul-de-Sac and isn't hurting anyone.

If his neighbours were objecting to that then they must be having fits of fury everytime they venture out of their cul de sac and realise that they are still living in Accrington which exists purely to make everywhere else in East Lancashire look better.

Spending two years working there was a pretty grim experience enlivened only by some of the more disturbed locals coming down to the branch of the Scottish purveyor of motor vehicles establishment to bang their fists and grunt.

Thanks Trig, that pic is brilliant. So good in fact it made me laugh and spit my tea on my keyboard

Why should a council and court say how many unlicensed vehicles a person should or should not have on their own property;so long as they are on SORN as I see it,he is breaking no laws. There are driveways all over the UK with caravans parked up going green in the winter,so why pick on someone at the end of a cul de sac with a few old motors ? I know places with worse than that, and no one gives a damn.

Would I complain if my neighbour had a few old cars parked up ? No ! So long as they keep it vermin free, and keep the noise to a reasonable neighbourly level,I'd let them do as they please.
