Hello Shite fans

Thought an intro was in order as I've been floating around for a while posted a couple of times but never said Hi.

 

My name's Matt, from North Norfolk brother of "Skattrd" if ya know him, he's a much bigger collector of AS than I am but I've had my share of motoring misdemeanors in the past including

 

Lada samara (£27 from a pissed bloke in the pub

Renfault clio

Pug 205 (gear linkage held together with cable ties )

audi 80 & coupe

Merc 500 sel (Dennis Thatchers old limo)

Volvo's 340 & 850

Hyundai pony (didn't like corners at all)

An assortment of land rovers, Series, rangie and disco's

Triumph spitfire (the lipstick) coz it was bright red and I said it looked like a dogs hard on.

 

These are my current motors

 

'91 merc 300ce

 

I have been guaranteed that at least 2 cows and a walnut tree were destroyed in the making of this interior

 

and I always have to have a landie of some sorts,

 

Currently for sale as I want to buy my brothers RRC of him and get it back on the road.

 

That's about it for now, hope to get to know some of you in time.

Very nice W124 CE;had one of those about 7 years ago,and still miss it ,so will be adding another to the fleet when the temptation urges finally take over !

Nah not me I'm afraid, the mechanic is our bro in law, I have to do my own spannering (bastid).

 

@skizzer & R9UKE, you're right about the steering wheel on the merc, it is a shocker that I wanted to change immediately but haven't got round to it yet and it's kinda growing on me now

 

@studebaker hawk. it's not solid wood it's a laminate type cover thing that the previous owner thought looked good I am gonna replace it at some point to see which I prefer but have you seen the price of merc steering wheels.

 

@EVERYONE, Anyone got a W124 steering wheel centre kicking around?
