I'm actually hoping to get down here one day to source a complete engine/box for a project. Ideally a MOWOG 6 pot RWD unit.

Where be this place? Liking the look of the A60 pickup. Need a bed to convert mine back. Got step side at the mo.

Google/images 'WOM 749J' tell me if you reckon std back end tubbed looks better than as it is now purple.

They're in Balby near Doncaster. When I needed to get a headlamp adjuster for my Hillman Avenger I got one from there - not from the Avenger itself, but from a well-rotten Rapier as my Avenger had the 4 light front end. It's very good!

I am also 99.99% sure that the Wolseley Six peeking into this shot is this one that my mate sold to them a couple of weeks ago.

That's a shame. :(

Looked saveable and would have yealded a few spares if nothing else.

A60Rod, there is actually a pair of A60 utes in there. Im sure there must be a decent bed between them..

Keef, the Six is parked with the cars that are for sale so it may get saved yet.

Cavette - Thanks for propping up my severe lack of IT skillage. I think it'd look better with a std back end, tubbed for the Wolfies. Any comments welcome!

Mk1_4Dr - sounding good. Thanks for the info. Greatly appreciated again. I've asked on the visit thread if someone can look/take pics for me.

It's got a Bob Nixon ladder bar/coilover back end on a weapons grade chassis so thechassis is no biggie.

I bought the pick-up when I was 21 and I'm now 38 so it's the longest anything's been in my life, so quite attached to it.

Bought it as a rotten hulk and spent every night virtually for a year rebuidling it from the rotten sills up. Did an evening course in body repair, panel making, welding etc before I could start.

Thinking about it, it was Custom Car autoshite, never be worth what I spent on it, found unloved and verging on deaths door!

Enough waffle. Thanks again Gents :D

Wot everyone else said - ace pictures and some top machines. Don't think I remember ever seeing a Mazda 818 on the road!

My old Yugo was sat on the back row years ago, I found it there 3 years after I sold it, the starter had jammed so the guy who lived less than a mile away just bumped it off and drove it in there............. :(

Someone really needs to save that Mazda 818, always fancied one myself but Doncaster is miles away. According to How Many Left (i know i know) there are 3 taxed and 2 sorn in Q1 2012 (not including this one). I love the style of the rear lights very unusual. If anyone goes there with a camera again any chance of afew more of the Mazda maybe front and interior, thanks in advance.

I went via Balby on returning home when i picked my Ital up form Little Hampton. What a place. There is or was what remained of a marina in there. Was sold by a college, who had used it to train students on vehicle maintence. Car was low milage and mint. Totally and utterly stripped now or was then

Found the pics! This was taken two years ago. This was a marina at one point!
