FIAT Cinquecento for sale.

1998 Fiat Cinquecento Sport.

MOT'd November, can see no reason why it won't go through the next test.

6 months tax.

Loads of old MOTs, history and bills, some of which are both interesting and eye watering!

Just over 101,000 miles

Just had head gasket, head skim, some valves reseated and a new fan switch.

Absolutely ace fun to drive, really is a hoot and is good on fuel if you don't go too mad!

Had welding, water pump and cambelt not so long back and the usual problem areas (i.e rear trailing arm bushes) with these cars are spot on.

Alloys, (what I think is the) standard radio cassette and the previous owner was a real enthusiast who knows these cars like the back of his hand.

V5 is not back yet but the new keeper's bit is here, the car will be collected from our house and a full receipt issued.

Obviously more (and indeed better) pictures of the car to follow!

Provisionally sold.

I'm pretty tempted. Stepdaughter may be having driving lessons soon. That may be a lever to go at Mrs P with. I'll let you know.

Tempted also, for the Missus. Maybe a safer bet than ancient MG Metro.

PS: qwalidee parking! :P

Weighing up the relative safety merits of an MG metro vs a Cinquecento.... that must be like trying to decide who’s funniest out of Jim Davidson and Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown

Safety not an issue. Who wants to live forever? Smallness, grooviness, cheapishnesh, and fun are the thangs.

Mid thirties apparantly, unless you welly them everywhere. I've got some slightly better pictures but need to take more really. Sadly they will be time/date stamp less.

Or...I'm picking up my bargain Cinq tomorrow, any tips on modifying it?

The only car i ever attempted to buy new.

Fiat were running a 0% finance offer and I had the worlds worst Golf GTi that I had already tried to trade in half a dozen times.

Unfortunately I was informed that the 0% offer only ran for another month and there was a 6 week wait for a new Chink Sporting. Therefore I couldn't have the finance offer even if I signed the order there and then.

At the time I suspected this was a lie by the cockend of a salesman as he hadn't even seen the Golf at that point.

This is of no consequence whatsoever. Er, Good Luck with the sale!

Is the £550 a deposit? Do you need to make further payments in order to get the rest of the car etc etc........

It's available strictly on a 'buy now, regret later' scheme. Full (25%) part-exchange allowance against a Cavalier Attitude welcomed. E&OE. Available from all good dealers and quite a few shit ones.

Quite literally going back to the old skool here. Apologies for the quality, I managed to get the whole car into a couple of the shots:

For all you H8RZ out there that silver vision of lovliness behind it is indeed a 1.0 Corsa C.

KEEP UR JELOUS COMENTS 2 URSELFS.

Cinq has side-impact bars.

It's Roy 'Chubby' Brown in a whalebone corset.

PS also impact fuel cutoff. I found that out when the switch malfunctioned and the fuel pump would randomly stop working...

500 ftw.
