If you want a copy at a substantial discount p+p inclusive, drop me a PM! And I'll get one out of the warehouse and posted off.

That book looks interesting, I bought a converted LDV ambulance minibus from Brighton off a new age traveller. The road it was parked in was full of home brew hippymobils, fun to look at too.

Good grief! That's an amazing collection.

Louise2CV might need a French holiday...

Very interesting stuff. There seems to be quite a few 'Dragon Wagons' amongst the WW2 stuff. You could probably make a couple of good ones out of what's there. :)

This reminds me of a visit to the now long lost Bingley truck breakers, very little to be found online about it. It was based on the top of Bingley Moor, at an old Quarry. A mate of mine was restoring a couple of Scammels, and the place was a gold mine of old truck chod, rows of Scammels, US army trucks, buses, even a few Aircraft fuselarges. some old cars too, from memory a dauphine, couple of Jags, and a large collection of Jowetts.

I was there when the clearance of the yard was beginning, most got gas axed and weighed in, the rest bulldozed into the quarry which then IIRC became a landfill site. :(

Dunno about the rest of you, but if I'd just won £148 million on the Lottery I'd be off there like a shot...

I am very tempted to have a run down there, just for a mooch about, could do with a few days away. The Volvo F12 looks gloriously shat and those Latils are rare beasts and then there's all the French stuff you never see here... ooof!!

The French equivalent of the "THINK!" campaign.
