Interesting programme.

I don't have TV (or internet) at home so have just watched it at my parents house, its informative without being boring.

Worth a watch.

The thing that struck me was that it took 18 months to build the 8.25 mile Preston bypass, only 50% longer than it took to widen this bridge (and make a complete arse of it) http://goo.gl/maps/fDwd Progress.

Saw a programme last night on Beeb 4 called The Joy Of Motoring, anyone else see it?

 

A bit dull, completely missed out the 70s ( ), very intrusive incidental music too, nice Austin Healey though (just wish we could of heard it's exhaust note instead of Max Bygraves singing Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellenbogan By The Sea.)
