3.0 Coupé wins for me. A bit pricey, but I had a 3.0 Coupé years ago and that one looks like a good 'un.

 

A gold 3.0S saloon, silver 3.0 Ghia or ideally my dad's old black 3.0 Ghia and I'd pay that kind of money.

Surely that would have been a mk2? I could be wrong, but I don't remember ever seeing a mk1 estate with the Ghia grille.

That coupé is about 15 miles away from my pad. I would prefer a later saloon model personally, like my folks' diamond white 2.0 L with optional vinyl roof and foglights.

I am pretty sure that the Granada had some Ghia badges scattered about amongst the swathes of fake wood, but I can't be certain.

I don't think the shape of the Coupe sits well either. Which kind of makes me like it but then again makes me want a saloon. Its a tough one.

 

When I was growing up in Gretna there was always a right shitty 'Nothing Harder Ford Granada' parked outside the chippy. Horrid mess it was.

Is it just me that can spot essence of Mustang in the Mk1 two door saloon and the Coupe?

I kinda see what you're saying, but if anything it seems to be 'fat 70s 'Stang' as opposed to a sexy '60s one.

 

 

This kind of thing, as opposed to the coolest 'Stang in the world. Which the Europeland ones tended to have a bit more of a look of.
