I know what you mean, hardly saw one for years on the mainland but surprised at how many are still kicking about over here, mostly the 5 door though. I know about the Lancer wagon (seen two this year) but did they bring the 4 door saloon to the UK in that shape? If they did it's been YONKS since I've clapped eyes on one as I can't recall ever having actually seen one in the metal.

Yeah, they did bring in the Lancer 4 door, be surprised if there are many left. Make mine a povo-spec 1200 please. Mmm.

Yep they did the saloon over here and the estate version - used to work for Mitsubishi and on some models the estate had 2 povo spec sunroofs fitted. Used to leak like mad after a couple of years.That blue one is very very tempting. It's also the pre face lift with the long side indicators. We had to fit wings on these under warrent cause they were a major mud trap hence why later ones have indicators in the bumper. Plus the bumpers were slightly narrower.The autos were great - manuals used to suffer from the strirring a bucket of bricks syndrome.
