Well following a rather hefty bill to get my wife's car repaired. (Cam belt jumped :-[) I've got to put my C900 up for sale.

 

Bought as a solid base car with a very extensive service history including replacement gearbox, new full exhaust including cat etc etc.

 

Needs some work to make perfect, but is perfectly useable/presentable as is.

 

 

Bad points:

 

Drivers window mechanism failed, but replacement included.

Roof Motor does not work, so on bypass.

Roof has seen better days. Still keeps you mostlty dry (odd drip here and there), but was planning on replacing.

Power Steering issues. Very notchy, almost as though pump is failing, but can then work perfectly for a couple of days.

Couple of rust spots on drivers door frame.

Rust to inner section of passenger side bonnet.

Wood Peel on Nardi steering wheel

No stereo. (well there is actually a stereo, but it does not work all the time - Possibly a loose connection to the speakers as it always has power)

Awful gear Knob

ABS lights take 20 secs to go out in the morning. (But always go out)

 

Good Points

 

Drivers door bottoms solid.

Engine and gearbox sound, no whining or jumping out of gear.

Nardi Steering Wheel.

MOT and Tax till September

"Uprated" Gearbox. Not certain on this, but dont remember my previous LPT running such low revs at 70mph.

More than happy for additional pics of any areas required. (or test drives if local) Aware seems to have a load of bad points but just trying to be honest so people aware what's needed. Hopefully this is also reflected in the price.

This is a right bargain, I would have been keen on this if I had not just bought the Audi. Would have preferred it in black like but if I was ever to buy a convertible it would be one of these. GLWTS etc.

Love trying to do that on e-bay. Look for the local sales and see if you can figure out where there are?

 

Can probably put up about 10 cars from that location as well. Always seem to head there to take photo's.
