BMC Dan Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Never been to this place so decided to venture over after noticing a show was there today. There was an enormous turnout of Rovers due to the P4 cub holding their National Rally there. The majority of examples were concours jobbies although there were a few (far more interesting I must admit) shitey specimens hiding in amongst them. The Merc W124 club were also having some do there as well which looked rather DULL The owner of this Cyclops claimed that it had only just been recommissioned after being laid up since 1972. 1950 Rover 75 P4 by BMC Dan, on Flickr1954 Rover 60 P4 by BMC Dan, on Flickr1954 Rover 60 P4 by BMC Dan, on Flickr1965 Rover 2000 P6 by BMC Dan, on Flickr1965 Rover 2000 P6 by BMC Dan, on Flickr1965 Rover 2000 P6 by BMC Dan, on FlickrInteresting work on the C pillars. 1965 Rover 2000 P6 by BMC Dan, on Flickr1977 Rover 3500 SD1 by BMC Dan, on Flickr The Viva and Metro clubs had turned up en masse too.1963 Vauxhall HA Viva by BMC Dan, on Flickr1965 Vauxhall HA Viva by BMC Dan, on Flickr1965 Vauxhall HA Viva by BMC Dan, on Flickr1969 Vauxhall HB Viva by BMC Dan, on Flickr1970 Vauxhall HB Viva SL by BMC Dan, on Flickr1968 Vauxhall HB Viva GT by BMC Dan, on FlickrCould't get any decent shots of the latter due to the rubbish lighting. 1982 Austin miniMetro L by BMC Dan, on Flickr1982 Austin miniMetro L by BMC Dan, on Flickr Onto the commercial shite, starting with this sexy Swede. trigger Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Nice photos Dan, It looks as if there was plently to see there, I think that Cortina is a Taunus as it's a left hooker.

The Merc W124 club were also having some do there as well which looked rather DULL Having owned four W124s "Dull" is not quite the right word, after thousands of miles they feel just the same. Having been lent one last year, it felt like a familiar old friend. Chris
dollywobbler Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 after thousands of miles they feel just the same. Sounds pretty dull to me Chris!
Lord Sterling Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Brilliant pics Dan. I didnt realise this was going to be on or I might have made an effort to drag myself and my car there.
carlo Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Lovely pics! That final Volvo 122 is rather special, and a C plate P6 must be one of the first?
