As many of you will remember, Vin made a excellent thread not so long ago of screen grabs from the excellent DVD box set "Look at life" viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12402&hilit which went down a storm.

Well I've just ordered one. The Original thread was great, as always its often the things going on in the background that are the most fascinating.....

Just watched the 1964 Airport one. Brilliant. Thought Gatwick was funny but then they showed Stanstead....

 

Its amazing just seeing the buildings and structures that look so grim today standing proud when they were new.
