fiatdaft Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 You would think that the 911 would be more reliable, but the water cooled non turbo and non gt cars have horrific engine troubles!
bigstraight6 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Lotus, of course! "It'll be fine...." Is the correct answer, an 'unreliable' Lotus should be the choice of anyone on here, the thoroughly reliable Teutonic Porshe shouldn't even be considered
Station Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I don't know anything about Lotus or read Top Gear/Pistonheads/Evo, but: "DIS CUNTRYS GIONG to THE DOgS"
lovejoy Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 " Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious " - or has someone already said that ?
eddyramrod Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Just ask yourself this question. If you had a choiuce of a Porsche, and a Lotus, and you had to drive from Glasgow to Nice in 24 hours, carrying no tools, and no breakdown recovery back-up, which would you choose............... I'd drive the Lotus... to the airport, and have a rental Mondeo waiting for me at the other end!
Ross_K Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Sniff Petrol reports that Mr. Bahar's been suspended for his "conduct". http://sniffpetrol.com/ Hello believers, By now you will have heard news of my “suspension†from Lotus. Let me assure you that this is nothing to concern you. I decided to suspend myself from the company for reasons that I have not thought of yet. I wanted this just as I wanted to withdraw from those Indycar teams and stop paying for F1, also for reasons I cannot share with you until I have thought of them. Sometimes, the only way you can grow a premium lifestyle optimum lifestyle upscale lifestyle brand is by looking at it from afar, such as from outside the factory gates standing next to a box of your own possessions whilst waiting for a taxi. I have been touched by the messages of support I am certain you have sent though for some reason they have not yet reached me. Those of you with diseases, I will cure you in time. For now I need you to think positive thoughts about Lotus. I also need you to send me money. Non-sequential high denomination bills, plain envelope, the usual deal. It is not cheap to have hair that looks this good. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid. The Reverend Sun Myung Dany Bahar
Mr Lobster Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 He has indeed. Sad really, theres a lot of talented people at Lotus but the company did seem to have lost the plot to a certain extent lately.
