Same colour as the D-reg GL estate my Dad had in the 80's. I much prefer the above though as it's af airly early one 8)

 

Just needs some 'raised letter' on alloy numberplates to complete the time-warp!

Maybe! I bet those are the original plates, they look cock-on in my opinion.

Yeah, they look similar to the dealer-fit plates I had on my A-plate 1.6GL. The X-plater is a beaut, and an early one to boot. Everything looks bob-on bodywork wise from that photo, what a honey!

The plates are the originals - from memory the dealer is swintons of Barnsley (sticker in rear window too) From memory the perspex plates came in around 1978 ish ? I only say that cause I remember one of the neigbours buying a brand new 'S' reg Cavalier with them plates on -- (jobs to do - must get a life LOL !!)

Damn, wish someone would hurry up and spot me a cheap yet driving Sigma!Still waitin' for it..Anyone got one anyway? Love to see some pics - especially the dash etc.ah......memories...

Cheers Mister Cubicle, tis indeed a fine motor, and a waaay good history.But I gots to stick to my guns. It's all about the twin headlights y'see... :shock:
