I am offering this car on behalf of my client.

It is a 2004 Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 JTS in a gorgeous Champagne Gold colour.

It has done 54,000 miles, which are being added to as it is being used daily.

The owner is selling as he has put down a deposit on a newer car.

This particular car has been supremely reliable for the past year the current owner has had it, and has some service history to back this up.

This has the Selespeed semi-automatic gearbox with paddle-shift, and is in excellent working order.

The engine is responsive and punchy, boasting 165bhp and a manufacturer claimed top speed of 132mph.

The MOT was renewed last October and there is current tax until May.

Repairs in the past year include the sorting of a small scratch and replacing a split hose, other than that the car has required no attention.

The car has many features as standard, including Anti theft system, Bose speakers plus CD/MP3 player, Alloy wheels, Central locking, AC/Climate Control,Remote audio controls, Electric mirrors, Electric windows, Leather interior, Power assisted steering, 2 sets of Remote keys, Traction control, ABS, Alloy wheels, Cruise control, Immobiliser.

Please contact Austin on O79O4 964 239 to arrange a viewing.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that.

Salty = expensive.

It sounds a lot to me too, but it does seem to be the going rate for a GT...

The price guide I consulted said 5-6K

I just consulted the Network Q site and it came in at £5,150-£5,650 to buy so it seems furrymuff. Don't know how reliable the caps valuation is on that though.

They are nice looking cars but personally I am waiting for the Brera to drop in price and for me to get a massive payrise.

GT's are worth a lot more than the 156 it's based on. The Selespeed transmission has a poor reputation though.
