I have the earlier Ascona, a green 2 door estate but I love yours ! Glad to see some love for these, they are cride next to the modern Classix or Trackside stuff but I always loved them. I'll photograph them when I am home. I also have an EKO Pegaso, basic but lovely.

Ok here goes, some of my German plastic 1:87 collection. I will post up in batches. Ill start with the moderns which have separate rubber tyres, light lenses and body trim pieces. All finely detailed and not chunky like the die cast equivalents.

These Capris have been intricately fucked about with by their previous owners. Ebay "what the fuck were they thinking" types of thing. The bespoilered one had a targa roof until I remedied it. I love them!

Junkman do you know what kind of car the American-looking thing might be or is it too small to tell?

Car based commercials. Someone scratch built the Truckman top for the Caddy and it has a Fiorino roof rack. Someone took a long time over this one.

Light commercials. All have been painted and detailed apart from the Citroen. The Transit has been converted into some sort of day van.

Strange plastic friction model of an Alfa Romeo 1300 Junior Zagato. I remember my mum buying me this in about 1983 from a Newsagents in Clarkston, Glasgow.

Christ knows how it has survived, I gave it death when I was a kid. Lovely to have now.

Loving these! I remember seeing that Zagato Alfa junior in shops and thinking that I must buy one but didn't.....I am sure Junkman will be along to confirm that the black/blue Wiking is a 1964/5 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu (or at least correct my assumption). I have one of these in cream, nice model.

Thanks Mercrocker, I always wondered what it was!

Re the Alfa, I recall choosing between that and a Fiat 127. I saw the 127 recently at a swapmeet but the guy wanted silly money for it.

Have a couple of Guisval 1:64s.

I bought the 12 at a Swapmeet in 1990 for 50p and surprisingly I bought the Seat 131 brand new in a shop in Cala'n Porter, Minorca, in August 1993.

Just received a few of these.

Corgi really went to town with some new car releases in the early 80s.

These ones are made by Monogram & came from Beatties many years ago.

I'm off to dig out some Spanish diecast now.

I really like those little 1:87 Monograms, I think they were called Xacts or something. Plastic bodies but really well proportioned.

I am liking those a lot! The 155 Alfas are particularly cool. These sorts of cars are simply nowhere to be found outside of ebay now. I suppose their fragility has everything to do with it. The Oxford Diecast and Classix models are nice but as they are diecast the details are a little chunky. Plus they dont do many 70s European cars.

This is my haul from the Mansfield swap meet this morning.

Particularly fond of the Italian police punto.post-19587-0-95497700-1448810033_thumb.jpg
