is it cheating if you invite the owner of a shite car to visit? A family friend runs this Corolla, the fifth consecutive example he has owned. He is the second owner and it had only done 20k when he bought it in 2003. He uses it every day, it has recently passed 100k and he has no plans to replace it.

Tatty Ibiza

 

As a cheap(ish) means of getting from a to b, I can highly recommend this shape Ibiza. The TDi must go like hot manure off a spade. I had mine for 7.5 years until I wrote it off. My mate had the facelifted model, owned from new (pre-registered) and for 11 years. He's just acquired his parents' Leon.

 

I was an a run up to Montrose, Friday, and I was pacing a petrol one...FR tag on the boot, old shape, twin pipes. I was happily, cough, blurring the scenery in my 6SP Doblo van

You can hire these beasts for self-drive tours of Stratford-upon-Avon. Called a Trigger 50 and has a 50cc moped engine, dunno anything else about it but it looks pretty shite.

Not brilliantly at the moment - every time I even think about getting the welder out, the heavens open or the wind starts howling! I work full time and have a long commute, so I only have weekends. I have done a few minor rust repairs with fibre-glass filler to tide me over, it just needs a few good solid days work on it - I have a couple of weeks off in August so if the weather begins to behave itself I might get some more done then.

I learnt to drive in a Kia Pride identical to that. Not a bad wee thing to be fair, no PAS or any frills like that though. It was my instructors car and the first time I went from that to my My mum's Rover 214 it felt like I'd stepped into a Rolls Royce!!

I've accumulated a bit more assorted shizzle, mostly of the VW variety, although I have to conclude this area is a bit of a shite wasteland full of modern blandmobiles and still wish for the sort of KWALITY spots others manage.
