I've just hobbled over here (because its 10 minutes away) and had a peruse. There is stuff everywhere! Pretty much everything seems complete, if you can piece it all back together from storage. The majority of the bike stuff seemed pumped up and lubed, if undisturbed. Some of the cars were like this - some were wreckage. But everything was dry. I reckon if you own anything similar its worth a trip in the future, grumblings that another autojumble style sale might go ahead. A shame really nice people, having their house raked through by shitehawks.

If your bidding, the ebay auctions are going the distance - it seems the traditional auction specailsts didn't want to know. I heard a new Kia Picantoish price mentioned for the lot by one outfit....

...is a little cracker. The first car I can ever recall seeing that my dad owned was one of these, think it was maroon with a white roof.

Yeah I just took the 1100 for a run out there. The place is in the middle of nowhere. Nice people, but spares prices were fairly high. Just about everything there was savable, some of the cars (Lanchester, Morris 14, Austin 16, Rover and Hillman Husky) looked like they would have needed a good clean and service for an MOT, others were fairly rough and in need of pretty major restoration. The Morris Eight had had loads of restoration work done to a good standard and just needed putting back together - very easy project.

I was very taken by this 2CV which is currently at £62, it was nowhere near as bad as it looks in the photographs, but would need a new chassis as it was fairly rotten towards the back. Still much less rotten and bodged than my old one was.

I couldn't really choose a favourite but the Austin Hereford was class with only 40,000 on the clock. Shame the headlining had been eaten by mice!
