I have no love for the post 1995 Audis but I do love these older ones. :D

It's even got CD cushions! Brilliant!

I like those too. It seems to be missing the front seat head restraints. It does slightly bug me to see some more modern cars being driven without them although easier to turn around and look out of the rear screen I guess. :)

The cushions are a nice touch, most have disappeared over time so its GR9 to have them. They do appear on ze German ebay from time to time and sell for £££££.

The headrests would bug me too, thankfully both front and rear are in a box on the front seat. :D

That's a beauty. We moved house on 14th July 1985 and my uncle got the loan of a Passat estate with that engine to help us move our stuff. The car was 1 week old and I still remember the sound of that engine. It was true Autoshite removals, done in a Chevette, a Maestro, the Passat and about 10 of my wee mates carrying stuff as we only moved about 500 yards.

Lovely! What about an Autoshite roadtest between this and Renault 20? Do we have one on here? I always thought these looked like an R20 in a Jaeger suit. I know a chap with an SD1 2600 VdP for the one to come third.

Stunning! 8)

I love those automatics with prominent 'T' shape gear levers.

The posh CD model as well. These Audis were well lush, that one looks awesome. I loved the frenched in aerials on the rear wing, very 'Custom Car circa 1976.'

That + Ro80 + Fiat 130 Coupe = I want to die and come back as you.

I used to have the poverty spec Audi 100L avant - 1588 cc, 4 speed manual, no PAS. I'm guessing it was ''78, it was on an S.

It was green with beige veloury interior, I don't think it had a tacho, just a big clock. But the parcel shelf was brilliant.

It was hit by a Renault 5, which disintegrated, the wife brought it home with a footwell full of R5 and a dent in the door.

Soon afterwards it was written off and traded in for an 83 Scirocco.
