It appears I have woken up in 1986 again. 3 more Escort shells just out of sight...

Thats a 90's IVECO

^EDIT^

Thats a 90's IVECO

Or should that be 90's body? Can you bolt a 90's IVECO body onto a older Cargo/D series/Transcontinental etc etc etc ?

In isolation, that D-Series and Escort remind me of a typical scene at Norman Trice's scrapyard in Sandwich, Kent about 25 years ago :)

Several beverages do not help the typing. I saw the newer Cargo body and started mashing the keys.

What is with the plate on the IVECO though?

Its that Mexico from Preston

It looks like a shot from a digi cam. History would be nice Red5, thanks.

Phone camera. Taking a detour due to a accident down a tiny little lane past a local well known Mk1 chap. Had to take a hasty pic as area/locals are a bit suspicious of picture taking...

Will try and get better ones, also of the 3 'resting'.

As a bit of 'colour' it's the same address I sold my 1.3L 1 lady owner car to about 15 years ago. On it's original 12' wheels and single bladed steel fan. Ah.

Sam, all nostalgic like.

I think the Di Transit nose up to the telegraph pole completes the picture :D

Plastered with Ford Motorsport stickers, and a BDA- plate? That's the only reason I can think of for putting a N-plate on a 1995 Iveco.

The Scort looks like a Sport - can just make out the wings decals.

Anyone remember the 1970's Ford AVO pic of the six newly minted Mexicos in differing colours/specs on the Ford D Series transporter?

Cheers Trigster!

What a great brochure that was - as well as a fantastic car. Car brochures were so bright and unpretentious back then.

Can anyone shrink it down enough to get at least the first (or last) halves together? My 1971 Cortina Mark 111 screensaver is getting on a bit.

Another chance to stick this one up again.

Lovely - but I'd lose the horrid plastic number plates (replace with pressed alloy). Looks like it has a Webasto foreskin as well.

Looks fantastic but (to keep) I'd rather have the truck than the Escort.
