For Sale Renault 11 Turbo 5door LHD

A mate of mine, Ray, has had this Renault 11 5 door turbo for a number of years; he originally bought it from his brother, who lived in France for a number of years n drove it back home to Ireland, on moving back here... Its still on French Plates.

 

Its rust free, and runs n drives very well; paint is pogweaseled but no damage  n pretty straight n looked after, AFAIK

 

... hes kept it started n driven it occasionally locally, over the years - its always been garaged; hes selling as he has a few projects (Volkswagens mainly), n needs the space its occupying back....

 

Im not 100% on year or mileage but I will get more details off him when im next talking to him; next days or so- looks like a 'Phase 3' to me, so 1987 on??... but im not what you would call a world authority on Renaults... According to him, the 5 door turbo R11's were only available in France

 

Anyways, he looking for €1700 ono; €1200 on the nose'.....

 

 the car is located in Ireland, south Tipperary, about 2 hours drive from Rosslare.

only pic I have of it at the mo; it takes a right bit of shuffling n moving stuff about to get it out; there is another car directly in front of it, plus he has a few motorbikes - according to another mate of mine who was up at his 'last year at the end of the summer/before the weather got very bad', helped to extract it from that spot- which took nearly an hour, started it n had a bit of a spin in it round the yard.... they never took any pics unfortunately... I have 3 other pics of it, if I can find them, from about 4 years ago, taken on a camera phone 'outdoors'... I'll add 'em if I can find them...

@hairnet - takes me approx. 2 hours or just over it, when Im either getting to ferry over, or on return back - its usually 'very early in the morning on goin to rosslare to catch the ferry' or very late in the evening after gettin the ferry back,  n the roads are a bit more quiet, at those times, so no need to fire up the rocket!!

Dare I say it, but even with a good exchange rate, that seems rather pricey.

Ive been told this can be had for €1200 (firm), according to the owner; if it doesn't achieve €1200, it'll get moved to the 'lean-to' at the back of his main garage...1st post edited accordingly...
