It's in Terenure College, just south of Dublin city centre in the Republic of Ireland - ZV plates are issued to cars over 30 years old (although usually denotes an import from the UK / elsewhere).

 

Original Pre-1987 Irish reg's look like this:

The Mazda 323 5dr is an odd one. Appears to have the additional window in the C-pillar which I don’t think we ever got in the UK. Wonder if it’s an import from elsewhere, or is that what they got in Ireland?

ZV plates are issued to cars over 30 years old

Optionally issued instead of a current series plate for new registrations to the State, e.g. imports. ZV is an unused Dublin series

 

 

Original Pre-1987 Irish...(And aren't transferable to imports).

..but often are, I've seen and heard of plenty of old brown log books magically reviving registrations of cars that are long dead.
